Plessey Southern Flying Group
About
The Plessey Southern Flying Group is a historic, not-for-profit flying group based at Goodwood Aerodrome near Chichester, established in 1970 and going strong for over 50 years. Operating as a close-knit, members-only club, it's an ideal choice for those lucky enough to receive an invitation — offering PPL training delivered by passionate, experienced volunteer instructors who truly love what they do. With a CFI boasting over 3,200 hours across 20+ aircraft types and a proud track record of training pilots who've gone on to airline careers, this is a group where aviation is a way of life, not just a service. The social, community-driven atmosphere makes learning to fly here as enjoyable off the ground as it is in the air.
