The Plessey Southern Flying Group is a historic, not-for-profit flying group based at Goodwood Aerodrome near Chichester, with over 50 years of training pilots to PPL standard. Run entirely by passionate volunteers, the group offers a uniquely personal and social flying experience — ideal for those who want to learn in a friendly, close-knit environment rather than a commercial school. Their experienced instructors have helped hundreds of pilots earn their wings, many of whom have gone on to airline careers, while others simply enjoy the freedom recreational flying brings. Membership is by invitation only, making this a truly special community for those lucky enough to join.
