South Wales Gliding Club, based near Usk in Wales, has been sharing the joy of gliding for over 50 years and is the perfect place whether you're a complete beginner or aspiring pilot. With a friendly team of highly qualified volunteer instructors and a fleet of 10 aircraft including two-seat training gliders, you can take your first flight, work towards going solo, or simply treat someone special to an unforgettable air experience. Experience flights start from £135 and include breathtaking views over South Wales, while full pilot training is available for those who want to take it further — with members having completed flights of over 500km from the site. It's a welcoming community club with a clubhouse, bar, and regular social events, making it as much about the people as the flying.
